Movie Day, Friday, January 17

The English Lounge Staff held one last event by showing two movies on
our Movie Day.

The movies were fun and emotional. It was a good time shared by all and
a great way to learn English! We hope to see you in the English Lounge
for more Movie Days in the new school year!

Farewell Party, Thursday, January 16

The English Lounge Staff said goodbye by hosting a farewell party that
included fun games, lively dancing, enjoyable talking and delicious
snacks.

We appreciate all the good work the students did over the school year
and we are already getting ready for next school year by recruiting new staff.

Thanks everyone for a fun year! All the best in life after graduation!

12月18日水曜日にEnglish Loungeで少し早めのChristmas Partyが行われました。

ゲストは少なかったですが、Santa drawing gameやGesture telephone gameなどを楽しみ、
手作りのChristmasカップケーキやお菓子、ジュースなどを頂きました。
最後にはサンタもやって来て、みんなでプレゼント交換を行いました。
小さなパーティーでしたがアットホームでとてもいい雰囲気でした。

今年も残すところ１ヶ月を切りました。
私たちの代のイベントは1月に行われるFarewell Partyが最後になります。

On Thursday, December 12, DJ Anna from LOVE FM spoke to the students in the English Lounge for an hour.

Over fifty students attended.

We were all delighted to hear about Anna's work, her most enjoyable and challenging moments in radio, and the people and books that have inspired her in her career and life.

This was Anna's second visit to our English Lounge and we are looking forward to the day when she visits us again!

11月20日（水）にイングリッシュラウンジでOne-day Cafeを開催しました。
手作りのお菓子を学生さんや先生方が持ち寄り、ラウンジ内で販売しました。
このイベントの売上金はフィリピンの台風救援金に全額当てられます。
多くの方のサポートがあり、大成功に終わりました。
今回、お菓子の提供をしてくださった方、ほんとうにありがとうございました。

次回は12月18日（水）にクリスマスパーティーを開催します。今年最後のイベントになりますのでお時間ある方はぜひ、イングリッシュラウンジに遊びに来てください。
