2013年7月19日（土）にClub EAGL主催のイベントが行われました。

Club EAGLとは英語学科の学生が運営する自治組織で、学生間の絆を深めるために行事を行っています。毎年この時期に TOEIC IP 試験を2時間受け、その後で恒例のバレーボール大会とスイカ割りを行っています。

今回は約30名の学生と教員1名、事務職員1名が参加し、バレー・トーナメントを行いました。優勝チームには賞品が渡され、楽しい一時となりました。

2012年の Open Campus は本日（8月5日）終了致しました。

学科ブース、進学相談ブースに足を運んで下さった皆様ありがとうございました。学科ブースでは学科の学生と話が十分にできましたでしょうか。進学相談では、高校生の皆さんから多くの質問をいただきました。お話を聞きながら皆さんが日々勉学に励んでいる様子を知ることができました。これからいよいよ本格的な受験シーズンに入ります。質問や相談などありましたらいつでもご連絡下さい。お役に立てるよう資料を準備いたします。

Open Campus: 2012.8.4 & 5

高校生の皆さん、暑い夏が続きますが勉強ははかどっていますか。夏休みとはいえ課外や部活で忙しいことでしょう。

グローバル化という言葉が毎日のように使われています。多くの企業が海外と連携して仕事をしています。大手の製造・商社・金融関係だけでなく中小の企業についても同様です。「英語を使って仕事をする」このコンセプトの基に開設以来、英語教育を行ってきました。これまで200名を超える学生が海外に留学し、卒業後は会社や教育関係で活躍しています。EAGLが高い就職率を誇る理由の1つは英語力です。

大学では高度な英語力をつけるために本格的な学習をします。それは中高の英語の学習とはかなり違ったものになります。多読・多聴は当然のこと、論理的に考え発信する力が求められます。語彙力も中高で学ぶ3000語から10000語程度に伸ばす必要があります。こうした地味な学習を支えるのが、刺激的な学習環境であり、教育スタッフです。EAGLは専門の英語スタッフが皆さんの力を分析しながら指導します。

(1) Talk with EAGL students: all day long

Two EAGL students are waiting for you. You can ask them about what you want to know about the department's programmes. You will get information from the insiders, which will be valuable to decide where to study.

(2) Special lecture: 2.15 - 3.00 pm  / Eri Hirata「児童文学コーパスを分析してみよう」

コーパス言語学の入門として、実際にコンコーダンスソフトウェアを使った児童文学作品の言語分析を体験します。（コーパス：自然言語の文章を構造化してコンピューターで解析する手法）

(3) Consultation with EAGL taechers: all day long

Two teachers are waiting for you. If you want to know which examinations will be best for you or how much it will cost to study abroad, please talk to the staff.

Other information such as scholarship and accommodation will also be available. You can consult professional staff in these areas. Please do not miss the opportunity to meet our students and teachers.
